PARKA is an Adoption Preparation Program for Alaska’s Waiting Children.We are Enrolling for our 2012-13 Program. Please contact bursel@nwresource.org for information and to enroll. Program is available to Anchorage and Mat-Su families.


 

Information:
Effective May 31,2010, the Office of Childrens Services is now requiring that all licensed foster families complete the OCS Orientation and the pre-services training (commonly called Core) as a part of the initial licensing requirements. It is available here so, just check the appropriate calendar for your area/region for the times and dates of the Core you would like to attend or call 800-478-7307 for details.

Adoption Referral Webcast Series

The Adoption Referral Webcast series is a series of podcasts addressing adoption topics that was first broadcast and moderated by  Yolanda Comparan during the summer of 2010 and used here with permission.  

Yolanda Comparan, MSW, is a mom by adoption of two teens, both adopted as toddlers. She is the Adoption Success Coach  and owner/operator of Adoption Referral and Information Service.
