BABIES – Off To A Good Start!
Babies grow tremendously in the first year. You can almost see them change from day to day. The most important job of the caregiver is to pay attention and tend to a baby’s needs, to make sure the baby gets good physical care, and to be an active partner in the child’s growth. Attachment plays a huge role in a baby's development. Even when a baby is in foster care on a temporary basis, he or she needs consistent caregiving and consistent caretakers.
ASSIGNMENT: READ ABOUT DEVELOPMENTAL MILESTONES DURING THE FIRST YEAR.
Because the first year is so filled with changes, we have divided up the group in three month segments. Click on each box to read about the developmental milestones for the first year.
