Are you interested in becoming a foster or adoptive parent?

These links will give you the steps you need to take to become a foster or adoptive parent.

Orientation:

Orientation is the first step in becoming a foster or adoptive parent. There are four ways to attend orientation.

1. Onsite:
Families who live in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau and Mat-Su must attend onsite orientation. Click here for the schedule of OCS's orientations

For families in other areas:

2. Web SIte Course:
Click here to complete the web based orientation (families outside of Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau and Mat-Su)

3. Self-Study Course:
Printed and mailed to you. You may order by emailing us at acrf@nwresource.org.

4. Telephonic Orientation:
Telephonic orientation is held monthly. Please phone us at 1-800-478-7307 to enroll and receive materials. Telephonic orientation is for people who live outside of Anchorage, Fairbanks, Mat-Su and Juneau.
