Understanding the Office of Children's Services (OCS)Office of Children's Services Publications: The web site of the State of Alaska Office of Children's Services offers a multitude of publications of interest to foster parents. The Child Protective Services Manual and the Child Care Licensing Manual are both huge documents, but they are both a terrific reference if you are trying to find out how things are supposed to be done and what policies and procedures the State has in place for the child protective services system. Office of Children's Services Statistics: The State of Alaska Office of Children's Services is required by federal law to make certain statistics available to the public.
