Core Training for Resource Families Session Three: Separation, Loss and Attachment
Core Classes: Thursday, September 25 to October 30 (ALL six sessions must be completed.)
Core training for Resource Parents helps you gain a better understanding of the child protection process, the special needs of your children in foster care and your role as a foster parent. It is also a great way to meet other foster parents and hear their ideas about fostering and adopting!

Session Two: The Impact of Child Abuse and Neglect
Session Three: Separation, Grief and Attachment
Session Four: Appropriate Discipline and Positive Parenting
Session Five: Cultural Considerations and Working with Birth Families
Session Six: Reunification and Transition
