This telephonic event is designed specifically for foster and pre-adoptive parents across Alaska to learn about ICWA (the Indian Child Welfare Act) and to have a chance to get your questions answered. April Stahl is the OCS ICWA Coordinator in the Anchorage Region and Danielle Holt is the Tribal Partner from Kawerak in the Nome Region housed in the Anchorage office. Each session will start with a brief discussion of a specific topic related to ICWA and then be opened up for questions or concerns about what ICWA means and does in Alaska. Foster and pre-adoptive parents are encouraged to call in and participate.
