This film will be shown at the May meeting:

“Resilience: The Biology of Stress & the Science of Hope”

When: Friday, May 5  *  10:30am-12:30pm

Where:  Turn-a-Leaf Thrift Store Community Room (400 N Yenlo St. in Wasilla)

This film chronicles the birth of a new movement among pediatricians, therapists, educators and communities who are using cutting-edge brain science to protect children from the effects of toxic stress. The child may not remember, but the body remembers. 

**Foster parents can earn (2) hours of training for attending.  Please call ACRF (376-4678) if you plan to attend. **
