SUPER ADVOCATE' ADVOCACY TRAINING Mat-Su Tuesday, November 7, 9am-4pm (lunch provided) at Mat-Su Senior Services - 1132 S. Chugach, Palmer
These FREE advocacy trainings offer tools and hands-on practice for advocating for policy and funding decision that affect people with mental illness, substance used disorders, intellectual/developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease and related dementia, traumatic brain injury, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders.
Who is this training for? Peers and people with disabilities, family members, providers of services, administrators, and others interested in advocating for issues that affect Alaskans. Trainings are sponsored by the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority and partner advisory boards. Please see additional information below. Here's what to expect at the training:
