Teen Dating Violence: What you need to know to support a young person

Parenting a pre-teen/teen/young adult? Need some guidance on how to support them in developing healthy dating relationships?

This workshop will provide parents with:

• Information on what abusive behaviors, unhealthy relationships, and dating violence are and how they may present with a young person
• Tips for setting up the foundation to talk
• Strategies for starting conversations when you see red flags
• Resources for further support and where to point youth
• A definition of sex discrimination in education
• Ways to advocate for your youth when sex discrimination happens in the school
